FAMILY OF THE MONTH

The officers of Council 9487 selected Arturo Gonzalez and his wife Lorena Orosco as this month’s family of the month. Arturo and Lorena do so much for our parish, and it is with great pleasure that our Knights of Columbus Council is recognizing all the love, work, and dedication that they give so freely to our parish.

Arturo and Lorena have been members of Santiago De Compostela for about 8 years. They are both extremely active in our parish. Arturo is the head Sacristan for the Spanish language Masses, he is part of the hospitality team for the sacrament of reconciliation services, very involved with the Cristo Rey Ministry and the Matrimonies Accion ministry which focuses on marriage and family for Catholic Spanish speaking couples. Lorena is also a sacristan for the Spanish speaking Masses and very involved with the Cristo Rey ministry. Arturo and Lorena participate in all the Spanish speaking activities at our parish.
Arturo says that he truly feels the presence of God in our parish. He and Lorena have been able to get to know so many wonderful people at Santiago De Compostela. He also feels our parish has been blessed with excellent Priests who do a great job of shepherding the members of our parish.
Congratulations Arturo and Lorena you truly deserve to be our March 2026 family of the month.
